Day 1: Nairobi to Lake Nakuru National Park

Your adventure begins with an early morning departure from Nairobi as you journey northwest through the spectacular Great Rift Valley to Lake Nakuru National Park. Upon arrival, you’ll enter a park renowned for its remarkable population of flamingos and other birdlife that gather along the soda lake’s shores. This UNESCO-recognized sanctuary is also home to both black and white rhinos, which can often be seen grazing in the open grasslands, as well as tree-climbing lions, giraffes, buffalos, and elusive leopards.

Enjoy a rewarding afternoon game drive through the park’s diverse terrain—acacia forests, marshes, and rocky escarpments—before settling in for dinner and a restful overnight at your lodge.

Day 2: Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast, set out on a scenic drive towards one of Africa’s most celebrated safari destinations: the Masai Mara. This iconic reserve is famed for its incredible density of wildlife and the spectacular Great Migration, when over a million wildebeest and zebras cross from the Serengeti in search of fresh pasture.
Arriving in the afternoon, you’ll have time to relax before a special cultural experience in the early evening. At 5:00 PM, local Maasai warriors—known as Morans—will lead you on a walking safari, offering insights into traditional bush survival skills, animal tracking, and their deep connection to the land. This immersive encounter ends with a visit to a nearby Maasai village, where you’ll witness age-old customs, songs, and dances. Dinner and overnight at your camp in the Mara.

Day 3: Full Day in the Masai Mara

Today is dedicated to exploring the endless savannahs of the Masai Mara on morning and afternoon game drives. Keep your camera ready for unforgettable sightings of lions lazing under acacia trees, cheetahs scanning the plains for prey, and large herds of elephants, buffalo, and antelope moving across the landscape. With some luck, you may even spot a leopard lounging in a tree or a pride of lions on a hunt.
Your guide will take you to different parts of the reserve, ensuring you get a full and diverse perspective of this breathtaking ecosystem. Optional activities, such as a hot air balloon safari at sunrise, can be arranged for an added thrill. Meals and overnight at your camp inside the reserve.

Day 4: Masai Mara to Nairobi

Wake up for a final early morning game drive in the Masai Mara, giving you one last opportunity to spot wildlife as the sun rises over the plains. After breakfast, begin your return journey to Nairobi, taking in the scenic beauty of the Rift Valley along the way. You’ll arrive in the late afternoon, with drop-off either at your hotel or directly at the airport, marking the end of an unforgettable safari experience.
