Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you’ll be warmly welcomed by your guide and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. Depending on your arrival time, you can relax at the lodge or explore the town with an optional city tour, including visits to the local markets, Maasai craft market, or the Cultural Heritage Centre. In the evening, your guide will offer a detailed safari briefing and help you prepare your camera gear. This calm first evening sets the tone for the photographic journey ahead.

Day 2: Arusha to Serengeti National Park – Into the Wild

After breakfast, your adventure begins with a scenic drive through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area en route to the world-famous Serengeti National Park. As you approach the park, the landscape opens into golden savannahs and wildlife starts to appear. Enjoy game viewing en route, with your camera ready for the first glimpses of elephants, giraffes, and large herds of herbivores. You’ll arrive in the Seronera region—known for its dense wildlife populations—in time for golden hour photography and your first Serengeti sunset.

Day 3: Full Day in Serengeti – Photographic Safari Heaven

Start before sunrise to catch the golden light and witness the Serengeti awakening. After a bush breakfast or picnic, continue your full-day game drive in the Seronera area, stopping for wildlife scenes, dramatic landscapes, and intimate animal portraits. You’ll return to camp only after sunset, with memory cards full of moments that capture the raw essence of Africa.

Day 4: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater Rim – Epic Landscapes

As you travel, enjoy sweeping landscapes and the chance to visit a Maasai village (optional), ideal for cultural portraits and lifestyle photography. Arrive at your tented camp on the crater rim by evening. The elevated vantage point provides breathtaking views and an exceptional opportunity to photograph the crater from above in the soft afternoon light.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater Tour – Into the Lost World

Rise early for your descent into the Ngorongoro Crater—an incredible wildlife haven and one of the best places to capture the “Big Five.” With the morning light streaming over the crater rim, you’ll explore the caldera floor where predators and prey live in close proximity. Watch elephants at the marsh, flamingos along the shores of the crater lake, and hopefully catch a rare sighting of the endangered black rhino. After a picnic lunch, ascend the crater walls and return to Arusha for your final evening.
