Day 1: Arrival & Journey to Murchison Falls
You’ll be picked up at Entebbe Airport by your guide and head northwest toward Murchison Falls National Park. En route, stop at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to track wild rhinos on foot—the only place in Uganda where you can do so. After lunch in Masindi, continue to the park where the Nile dramatically squeezes through a narrow gorge at the top of Murchison Falls.
Before reaching your lodge, visit the top of the falls to witness the sheer force of the river crashing down 43 meters. It’s a humbling, thunderous introduction to Uganda’s natural beauty. End the day at your lodge inside the park, surrounded by bush sounds and riverside breeze.

Day 2: Game Drive & Nile Boat Safari
Rise early for a morning game drive on the northern banks of the Nile. This savannah landscape teems with wildlife—elephants, lions, giraffes, buffalo, oribi, and even elusive leopards. The drive offers spectacular photography opportunities as the morning light dances across the plains.
In the afternoon, embark on a relaxing boat safari to the base of Murchison Falls. You’ll float past pods of hippos, crocodiles basking on sandbanks, and elephants bathing at the water’s edge. Hundreds of birds line the banks, from fish eagles to colorful kingfishers. The day ends with a sunset return to your lodge for dinner.

Day 3: Scenic Transfer to Kibale Forest
After breakfast, depart for Kibale Forest, passing through green tea plantations, crater lakes, and rural villages. Depending on timing, you may visit a local tea plantation or enjoy lunch in Fort Portal before continuing to your lodge near Kibale.

Day 4: Chimp Trekking & Transfer to Queen Elizabeth NP
Today begins with a thrilling chimpanzee trek in Kibale Forest, often called the “Primate Capital of the World.” Follow expert trackers into the dense jungle in search of our closest cousins. Watch them feed, swing through trees, and communicate in a way that will leave you speechless.
After lunch, continue to Queen Elizabeth National Park, where you might spot wildlife along the way. If time allows, you’ll enjoy a short evening game drive. Settle into your lodge near the park, ready for a full day of exploration tomorrow.

Day 5: Game Drive & Kazinga Channel Cruise
Start your day with a classic African game drive across the Kasenyi plains, where you’ll search for lions, hyenas, and herds of buffalo and elephants. The open savannah offers some of the best wildlife viewing in Uganda. You may even spot leopard tracks or playful baboons along the route.
After lunch at the lodge, board a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, a wildlife-rich waterway linking Lakes George and Edward. It’s a haven for hippos, crocodiles, and migratory birds. End your day back at the lodge, watching the sun dip behind the Rwenzori Mountains.

Day 6: Tree-Climbing Lions & Transfer to Bwindi
This morning, travel south through the Ishasha Sector, famous for its tree-climbing lions—a rare and photogenic behavior. With luck, you’ll see them lounging on fig tree branches, resting from the midday heat. Along the way, enjoy the scenic shift as savannah gives way to forested highlands.
In the afternoon, arrive in the mystical Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. This ancient rainforest is home to half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas. Settle in at your forest lodge, where birdsong and misty views prepare you for tomorrow’s bucket-list adventure.

Day 7: Gorilla Trekking & Lake Bunyonyi
Wake up early for your once-in-a-lifetime gorilla trekking experience. After a safety briefing, join park rangers to track one of Bwindi’s habituated gorilla families. The trek can be strenuous, but the moment you make eye contact with a silverback or see young gorillas at play, the effort melts away.
After the trek, you’ll have lunch and then transfer to the peaceful shores of Lake Bunyonyi. Known as “The Place of Little Birds,” the lake is dotted with 29 islands and framed by terraced hillsides. Spend the evening relaxing and enjoying the views from your eco-resort.

Day 8: Return to Entebbe & Departure
